Dublin Bay Prawn Festival - Howth


The Dublin Bay Prawn Festival shall take place in Howth from Friday, 27th April 2012 until Sunday, 29th April 2012 inclusive.

There is a food village packed with food stalls and tasting sessions with everything from top quality seafood to freshly sourced local foods from some of the region’s finest restaurants and artisans. Other food events include cookery demonstrations, wine-tasting events and prawn shelling competitions.

During the day there is street entertainment and a programme of walks, talks and seaside antics. As the sun goes down over Howth Harbour the fun continues as each evening the festival offer choices such as a Mystery Dine Around, Special Festival Menus in restaurants and pubs, fireworks on the Harbour and in-house musical entertainment in Howth’s Pubs.

Dublin is a wonderful city and capital of the Ireland. Dublin and Ireland both celebrate the festival in a special manner. The tourist that goes there in festival season will enjoy a lot.

It is a known fact that Italian food is some of the bests on the globe. Of course, many individuals have never known the various local recipes that are not as typical as the conventional pasta or pizza.
